Mango kheer

Ingredients –

5 – Ripe mango

1.5 Ltr.- Full cream milk

2  Pinch –  Soda

100 g. – Sugar

150 g.- mava (khoya)

2-3 – Dry dates (Chuhara) chopped

8-10 – Raisins

8-10 – Almonds finely chopped

4-5 – Pistachio finely chopped

4-5 – Cashew nuts finely chopped

5-6 – Saffron threads

1/2 tsp – Green cardamom powder

Method –

                 1- Bring the milk in a thick bottom pan and let it boil on low flame gas.

2- Add the soda into the pan.

3- Roast the khoya and sugar and mix it in the milk.

4-   Soak the saffron in one tbsp of hot milk for 10 minutes.

5- Peel off the mangoes and blend them in a blender.

6- Once milk get thickened, add cardamom powder and saffron and stir well .

7- Add the mango paste and simmering it for 2 minutes.

8- Now turn off the gas.

9- Garnish it with dry fruits and set aside to cool.

           Serve and enjoy….
