Kadhai Paneer

Ingredients-

300 g.- Paneer  “cut into 1 inch cubes”

2 cup – Oil

3 – Green capsicum chopped

2 medium – Onion chopped

5 medium – Tomatoes chopped

2 tbsp – Ginger and garlic paste

1/4 tsp – Fenugreek seeds

2 inch – Chopped ginger

5-6 – Chopped garlic

1/4 tsp – Mustard seeds

1/2 tsp – cumin seeds

3 tbsp – Coriander seeds

6-7 – Dry red chillies

2 pinch – Asafoetida

1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder

1 tsp – Garam masala powder

1 tbsp – Fresh cream

5-6 – Green chillies chopped

2 tbsp – Green coriander leaves

Salt to taste

How to make –

1- Roast the coriander seeds and red chillies in a pan.

2- Make it a slightly coarse powder in a mixer grinder.

3- Heat oil in a pan.

4 – Add Asafoetida, Mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and Fenugreek seeds fry it for 1/2 minute.

5 – Now add Chopped onions and ginger and garlic fry it till golden brown.

6 – Add the ginger and garlic paste and saute until raw smell goes away.

7 – Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chillies powder and fry it 5 minutes.

8 – Add the fresh cream and tomatoes and cook  until they get soft.

9 – Add the capsicum and green chillies and saute it till get half soft.

10 – Add the  paneer and garam masala in the spices.

11 – For thik gravy add one cup of water in the paneer covered with lid and cook for   5-10 minutes.

12 – After that garnish it with green coriander leaves and remove from the heat.

Serve and enjoy with roti, naan, paratha or fried rice.
